Privacy Policy
How RankSEOTool collects, uses, and protects your data. Read the RankSEOTool privacy policy for our data protection practices. Last updated October 21, 2026.
Information we collect
RankSEOTool is designed to work with minimal personal data. We collect only what is necessary to operate the tools and improve the platform.
Information you provide directly: when you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. When you create an account (where applicable), we collect your email address and password.
Information collected automatically: when you visit RankSEOTool, our servers may log standard request data including IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics.
Tool inputs: the domains, keywords, locations, and settings you enter into our tools are processed to return results. We do not store individual query inputs unless you explicitly save a tracked campaign.
How we use your information
To operate, maintain, and improve the RankSEOTool tools and features.
To respond to your support, feedback, and partnership inquiries submitted through the contact form.
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse.
To analyze aggregate usage trends so we can prioritize which tools and features to build next.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third-party services
To deliver live search results, RankSEOTool may query third-party SERP data providers (such as SerpAPI). These providers receive the keyword, domain, location, and parameters needed to return results, and process them under their own privacy policies.
We use infrastructure and hosting providers that process data on our behalf to keep the site online and secure.
We do not share your personal contact-form submissions with third parties except as required to deliver the email notification you requested.
Advertising and Google AdSense
RankSEOTool does not currently display third-party advertising or run Google AdSense ad code on the site. The tools and educational content are available without ads today.
If we enable Google AdSense or similar partners in the future, third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies (such as the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google’s Ads Settings and industry tools such as aboutads.info where available.
We will update this Privacy Policy before or when ads go live to name active partners, cookie practices, and controls. We will not silently introduce advertising technology under another description. Ad program approval and policy enforcement remain solely under Google’s (or other partners’) control.
This section is intended to align with common GDPR, CCPA, and Google Publisher / AdSense disclosure expectations for sites that may later show ads: clear notice, choice where required, and no sale of personal contact-form data for advertising.
GDPR, CCPA, and regional rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a region with similar laws, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port personal data, and to object to certain processing. California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, and correct personal information and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined by law — RankSEOTool does not sell personal information.
To exercise rights, email support@rankseotool.com. We may need to verify your request. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion or correction of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. RankSEOTool does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale to opt out of — but you can contact us at support@rankseotool.com to exercise any of these rights, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@rankseotool.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
You may also request that we stop sending you communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Children's privacy
RankSEOTool is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
Your continued use of RankSEOTool after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
